Rental Terms and Conditions
1. Booking & Payments
• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure your date.
• Final Balance: The remaining balance must be paid in full 7 days before the event date.
2. Safety & Supervision
• Adult Supervision: Constant adult supervision is required at all times. Lil Bliss Co is not responsible for any injuries that occur during the rental period.
• Age Limit: Our equipment is designed for children aged 0–4 only.
• Capacity: Please ensure the play area does not become overcrowded to prevent collisions and injury. A Maximum of 10 children at a time in the play space
3. Equipment "House Rules"
To keep our equipment clean and safe for the next little ones, the following are strictly prohibited in the play area:
• No Shoes: High heels and sneakers damage the mats. Socks must be worn.
• No Food or Drinks: Includes gum, candy, and cake.
• No Messy Items: Face paint, slime, glitter, bubbles, pens/markers, and "poppers" are not allowed.
• No Pets: Animals are not permitted on the equipment.
4. Delivery & Setup
• Surface Requirements: The setup area must be flat, dry, and clear of debris (rocks, sticks, or pet waste).
• Access: Access to the setup area must be clear, safe and reasonably close to parking. Locations involving stairs, long walking distances, or difficult access may incur an additional fee.
Setup and Pack Down: Setup and pack-down times are included and occur outside your booking period. Setup typically takes approximately 30-60 minutes, depending on access and package size.
• Outdoor Events: If rain or high winds (above 25km/h) are forecast, we reserve the right to move the setup indoors or cancel for safety. Equipment must never be left out in the rain.
5. Damages & Cleaning Fees
• Cleaning Fee: If equipment is returned excessively dirty (stained by food, face paint, or mud), a cleaning fee of $75 will be charged.
• Damages: The renter is responsible for the cost of repair or replacement for any equipment damaged or lost during the rental period.
• Ball Pit: All balls must be returned to the ball pit before our team arrives for pickup.
6. Cancellation & Weather Policy
General Cancellations
• Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable as they secure your specific date and prevent us from taking other bookings.
• 14+ Days Notice: If you cancel at least 14 days before your event, your deposit can be applied as a credit toward a future booking within 12 months.
• Less than 7 Days Notice: Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will result in the forfeiture of the full booking balance.
Weather Policy (For Outdoor Setups)
• Safety First: For the safety of the children and the preservation of our equipment, we cannot set up outdoors in rain, muddy conditions, or winds exceeding 25km/h (15mph).
• The "Indoor" Rule: We strongly recommend having an indoor "Plan B" location. If the forecast predicts a 50% or higher chance of rain, we will contact you 24–48 hours before the event to move the setup indoors.
• Decision Deadline: A final decision to move indoors or reschedule must be made by 6:00 PM the evening before your event.
• Once Delivered: Once our team has arrived at your location and begun setup, no refunds or credits will be issued, regardless of weather changes.
• Our Right to Cancel: Lil Bliss Co reserves the right to cancel an outdoor setup if we deem the conditions unsafe for our equipment or the participants. In this rare case, a full credit will be issued for a future date.
Rescheduling
• You may reschedule your event once at no extra charge, provided you give us at least 7 days' notice and the new date is available.
7. Travel and Delivery Fees
Travel is included for locations within 20km of our base. (Modbury, SA, 5092)
For bookings located beyond 20km, additional travel fees will apply as follows:
20-30km: $20
30-40km: $40
40-50km: $60
Locations exceeding 50km will incur a custom travel fee, calculated based on distance.
Travel distances are calculated from Modbury, SA, 5092. Any applicable travel fees are not included in the package price and will be invoiced separately following confirmation of your booking.
By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge and agree to any applicable travel fees.
8. Extra Time
The Soft Play packages include 3 hours of play. Additional hours can be arranged upon request for an extra charge. Clients must contact us in advance to book extra time on the package.
Additional hours are subject to availability and an extra charge - please contact us to confirm.
9. Client Responsibilities / Setup Area Prep
Clients must ensure that pets or young children are not present in the setup or pack-down area while our team is arranging the equipment. This helps keep everyone safe and allows us to set up efficiently.
10. Late Arrivals
If the client arrives late, the end time of the session remains unchanged. No refunds or extensions will be provided for late arrivals.
11. Age Limits for Equipment
All equipment is designed for children aged 0–4 years. Lil Bliss Co is not responsible for the misuse of equipment.
12. Health & Safety / Illness
Clients must not use the equipment if they or their children are unwell. Lil Bliss Co reserves the right to cancel or refuse service for health and safety reasons.
13. Indemnity for Third-Party Damage
Clients are responsible for any damage caused by guests or items brought to the venue that are not part of Lil Bliss Co’s equipment.
14. Liability Waiver
By booking with Lil Bliss Co, the renter agrees to release the owner from any claims for damages or injuries arising from the use of the equipment. The renter assumes all risks associated with the rental.
